Catherine von der Oelmühle "Nanaly" (29.11.1996 - 03.06.2009)

Nanaly ist mein erster Deerhound gewesen, vielleicht nicht ganz perfekt, aber - es hat gereicht, um sich in diese Rasse restlos zu verlieben!

Nanaly was my first Deerhound, perhaps not perfect but - it was enough to completely fall in love in this breed!

Bo ist die Mutter des "A" Wurfes, mit ihr hat meine Deerhound - Zucht angefangen. Unsere First Lady. Sie war einfach eine wunderbare Hündin in jeder Hinsicht und in jedem Alter!

Sie hat ein schönes Alter erreicht und trotzdem - für mich - musste ich sie viel zu früh gehen lassen...

Bo is the mother of the "A" litter, with her has begun my Deerhound - breeding. Our First Lady. She was just a wonderful hound in every way and at any age!
Much too early I had to let her go...

Graine ist die Mutter des B Wurfes. Hat CACIL Prüfung und ist Dt. Schönheitschampion, Dt. Coursing Champion, sowie Champion für Schönheit & Leistung.

In einem Satz beschrieben: temperamentvoll, lustig, extrem robust und für alles zu haben.

Graine is the mother of the B litter. She is "German Champion", "Coursing Champion" and "Champion for Beauty & Performance", CACIL certificate.
Described in one sentence: spirited, funny, extremely robust and for everything to have.

Unsere "Pip" wollte nie Kinder haben, dagegen den "Caoinlan" Nachwuchs erziehen, putzen und bewachen - ja!

Sie weiss wer sie ist und was sie will - ganz bestimmt... Ihre ausgesprochen gute Gehorsamkeit gleicht aber alles aus und macht sie für mich zu einer sehr angenehmen Begleiterin.

Sie ist Dt. Schönheitschampion, Dt. Coursing Champion und Champion für Schönheit & Leistung, CACIL Prüfung.

Our "Pip" never wanted to have children, but the "Caoinlan" puppies educate, groom, and guard - yes!

She knows who she is and what she wants - certainly... Her very good obedience makes "Pip" a very pleasant companion for me.
She is "German Champion", "Coursing Champion" and "Champion for Beauty & Performance", CACIL certificate.

Ch. Hollyrood Ginger Rogers "Ginger" *04.10.2004 (auf dem Bild über 7 J. alt/ on the photo - about 7 years old)

Ginger - unsere Kanadierin. Wir holten sie im Alter von 4 Monaten bei ihrer Züchterin Lynn Bruce in Kamloops / BC ab.

Sie ist die Mutter des "C" Wurfes. Zu Hause - einfach nur lieb, bei der Jagd - bedingungslos.

Ginger ist Dt. Schönheitschampion (auch wenn sie vom Ausstellen nichts hält...) und für die Zucht "Schönheit & Leistung" angekört.

Lassen Sie sich von dem beigefügten Bild eines aufmerksamen Deerhounds mit der Coursing - Decke nicht täuschen, für Ginger ist Coursing nur ein SPIEL, welches sie aber gelegentlich sehr gut mitmacht!...Eigentlich aber - echt müsste die Beute sein, DANN und nur DANN würde sich der volle Einsatz lohnen...

She is the mother of the "C" litter. At home - just love only, in the hunt - unconditionally.
Ginger is "German Champion" (even if she does not like exhibitions...) and has "Beauty & Performance" predicate for breeding.

Don't be fooled by the pic - Ginger considers coursing  to be just a game , one she can be pretty good at every so often !As for real prey, then and only then is she  interested in putting in a lot of  effort ....

Mhor hat zwei Seelen in sich: die eine völlig in sich ruhende und die zweite... ein Vulkan - wenn sie sich freut oder rennen darf (so wurde auch ihr Vater beschrieben). Ihr Dt. Schönheitschampionat hat sie recht schnell erreicht, ausserdem hat sie CACIL Prüfung, ist Dt. Ch. für Schönheits und Leistung und Dt. Coursing Champion.

Mhor has two souls in itself: the one in himself completely dormant and the second... a volcano - when she pleased or may run (as well as her father was described). She got relatively quickly the "German Champion", CACIL certificate, German Coursing Champion and German Champion for Beauty and Performance.

Ch. Cinead of Canadagh Caoinlan "Sissi" *16.06.2008 (auf dem Foto über 3 Jahre alt / on the photo about 3 years old)

Cinead ist inzwischen Mutter geworden ( D - Wurf) und eine ganz sichere und souveräne Nachfolgerin des Rudelführerin. Immer darauf bedacht, alles gut zu machen, lieb und verschmusst aber auch genau wissend was sie will und auch was wichtig im Leben ist. Draussen - aufmerksam und ganz ein Deerhound!

"Sissi" ist Dt. Jugendchampion und Dt. Champion DWZRV.

Sie besitzt Renn - und Coursing Lizenz, sie rennt mit Begeisterung auf der Bahn und im Parcour, aber.... sie weisst bei der Jagd auch genau, was Spass ist (und das sieht sie eben oft so!) und was Ernst ist. Nun - ich kann damit gut leben!

Cinead  has become a mom meanwhile (D litter)  and she is a very self assured  and clear successor to the currant pack leader. She always wants to do things right and is very sweet and "schmoosy"  but she also knows exactly what she wants and what is important in/for her life . Outdoors she is very keen and observant and  100% Deerhound!

" Sissi " gained the titles of  German Junior Champion  and German Champion. She also has  the racing and coursing licence , she loves to race  on the track and on the field  but while out hunting she also knows to discriminate  between having fun (which she seems to have often!)  and the " real deal ". I am quite happy with that!

Sie ist das kräftige und freche Schwesterchen von Cinead, gehört zu unserer Familie und neben ihrem zweiten Wohnsitz im Wendland (Hundehotel am Silberberg, Craigie ist natürlich kein Hotelgast!:-)) verbringt sie immer wieder Zeit in ihrem "Elternhaus". Craigie besitzt Renn - und Coursing Lizenz.

Inzwischen wurde sie erfolgreich bei den Ausstellungen (u.a. 2 Platz in der gut besetzten ZK bei der DJA 2010, Richterin Dr. S. Helps/ GB), einige S+L Preise und ebenso einige gute Coursings - Läufe! Bei der Coursing EM 2010 stand sie auf Platz 3 bei den Hündinnen!

She is the strong and impudent little sister of Cinead, belongs to our family and by her second home in Wendland she always spends time again in our home. She has trial and coursing licence. Meanwhile she has become succesful at shows ( amongst others  the 2nd place in the strong "breeding class" at the GermanDeerhound Specialty  under Dr S. Helps/GB , several awards for " beauty + performance " and also several  really good coursings . She became  3rd within the females at the European Coursing Championship in 2011!
